Description
Students at Trinity Western University develop practical skills while exploring bigger ideas about who they are, what they believe, and what they’re called to do in the world. As Canada’s leading global Christian liberal arts university, TWU provides a whole-person education in an authentic and engaging Christ-centred, student-focused, and globally engaged community. Graduates are equipped to be the light in their personal and professional journeys.
TWU offers 48 undergraduate and 19 graduate degrees in business, leadership, nursing, psychology, education, communication, interdisciplinary humanities, computing science, arts, theology, and more. Each program includes practical preparation enabling students to flourish in their calling. TWU also provides continued education with flexible certificate and online programs.
From a state-of-the-art nursing simulation lab to mixed-format art and design studios, TWU students have access to a variety of experiential learning facilities, giving them hands-on experience to prepare them beyond the classroom. The University also has over 100 acres of dedicated ecological reserves for students to both study and enjoy.
One of the features that attracts students to Trinity Western is its small class sizes. With an average of 25 students per class, students receive individual mentorship from their professors and can participate in research alongside them. The small cohorts also serve to build meaningful networks and friendships that become part of the University’s promise to equip graduates for life. Trinity Western is home to the championship-winning TWU Spartans. With 14 U Sports national championships and 33 Canada West championships, the highly committed, fiercely competitive, and hard-working student-athletes are the University’s pride and joy. The TWU Spartans are proven leaders in sport and in life. TWU’s main campus, located in Langley B.C., is a short drive from Vancouver and next to historic Fort Langley, a picturesque town on the banks of the Fraser River. TWU also offers programs through its Richmond, B.C., campus and the historic Laurentian Leadership Centre in Ottawa, Ont.
